The Role of a Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Executive to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in content creation, digital marketing, and social media strategy.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for staying ahead of social media trends and publishing content across various social media and digital platforms, adhering to platform-specific and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scout socials and news sources for potential stories and trends.
  • Ideate and create engaging content – carousels, reels, memes, and more.
  • Write accurate, engaging, and contextually relevant captions, headlines, and post descriptions for a variety of content types.
  • Collaborate with editorial, production, and internal teams for top-performing content and ensure seamless coordination to develop story ideas and produce engaging stories for distribution across platforms.
  • Optimize videos for maximum engagement.
  • Manage content calendars and production schedules to ensure regular uploads.

A successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Media or news background (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and best practices.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience.
  • Keen news sense and strong journalistic instincts.
  • Up-to-date with social media trends.
  • Good eye for aesthetics.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Graphic design expertise (social media creatives, branding).
  • Ability to manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders.
