Tax Accounting Manager Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accounting Manager to fill this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns, developing tax-efficient strategies, conducting tax research, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax benefits for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and timely delivery of tax services.
  • Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
