Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

Description

We are looking for a skilled test automation specialist to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in QA automation and a strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.

The successful candidate will focus on building reliable automation tests for our applications built on NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, React, and React Native. They will ensure smooth integration with our AWS-based infrastructure and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services, using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox for React Native).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
