Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our platform. With a strong focus on test automation strategy, you will work closely with development teams to ensure the testability of new features.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, including SQL and database testing for data validation. Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools is essential, as well as experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Strategy
    • Design and develop automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs
    • Implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression and performance testing
    • Build robust test automation for complex features and business workflows
  • Quality Assurance
    • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues
    • Conduct thorough integration and regression testing
    • Execute performance and load testing to ensure scalability
  • Collaboration and Process
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the testability of new features
    • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SQL and database testing for data validation
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools: Web Automation, API Testing, Performance Testing
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts
