Senior Manager for Sports Apparel & Accessories Division

Acme-Services seeks a seasoned professional to lead our Sports Apparel & Accessories division, specializing in buying and merchandising. The ideal candidate will be a NIFT graduate with 11-14 years of experience in the sports or activewear industry.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the product strategy of a leading sports apparel and accessories brand, requiring a blend of creative vision and analytical acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Assortment Management: Identify, source, and develop innovative ranges of apparel and accessories for sports and activewear collections.
  • End-to-End Buying Process:
    • Conduct thorough trend analysis to inform product decisions.
    • Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms.
    • Manage inventory effectively and develop strategic assortment plans.
  • Accessories Business Development:
    • Expand and optimize the accessories portfolio across multiple sports categories.
    • Demonstrate a proven track record in accessories buying, sourcing, and development.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international suppliers.
    • Continuously evaluate and expand the supplier base to ensure product innovation and quality.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends in the sports and activewear industry.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure all products meet high-quality standards through meticulous attention to detail.
