Product Merchandising Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Merchandising Strategist to play a crucial role in the success of our business.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and product development strategies.

  • Develop and execute product merchandising and assortment plans to meet customer demand and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and timeless products.
  • Conduct market research to track trends, customer needs, and competitors, ensuring we stay ahead in the industry.
  • Curate seasonal collections balancing classic and modern styles, catering to diverse customer tastes.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely deliveries and minimal stock issues, resulting in cost savings and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and merchandising tools, driving sales growth and brand loyalty.
  • Define pricing and positioning strategies based on cost and market analysis, maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee quality control and adherence to production timelines, guaranteeing exceptional quality and timeliness.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in product merchandising or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with familiarity with merchandising tools a plus.
  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Product Development, or a related field.
