Role Overview
This isn't just a "store manager" role. You'll own Nap Chief's Shopify storefront end-to-end — from merchandising and customer journey optimization to growth experiments and revenue-driving initiatives. If you've scaled a D2C brand before and know how to squeeze every drop of growth out of Shopify, this is your playground.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store & Merchandising (Your Core Playground)
Fully own the Shopify storefront: design, navigation, catalogs, collections, and product detail pages
Upload and manage products, sizes, inventory & seasonal collections
Build engaging landing pages, festive drops, and limited-edition launches
Implement fashion merchandising flows: "Shop the Look," age/size collections, gifting bundles
Growth & Conversion Optimization
Drive CRO with A/B tests on product pages, checkout, and CTAs
Increase AOV via upselling, cross-selling, bundles & free-shipping incentives
Build retention loops with abandoned cart recovery, loyalty/referral programs, and repeat purchase flows
Ensure Shopify integrates seamlessly with Meta, Google Ads, influencer campaigns, and marketplaces
Analytics & Insights
Track growth KPIs: Conversion Rate, AOV, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate
Use cohort analysis & funnel insights to inform merchandising and retention strategies
Share growth dashboards & actionable insights with leadership for decision-making
Campaign Execution & Scaling
Execute festive campaigns, collection drops & influencer-led activations
Optimize product pages & collections for SEO + discoverability
Enable reviews, UGC, and community-building features to boost trust
Continuously explore and test Shopify apps that can unlock growth (ReConvert, Klaviyo, , etc.)
Requirements
2–4 years of hands-on Shopify management in a D2C fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brand
Proven track record of scaling revenue through Shopify (CRO, AOV, retention strategies)
Strong knowledge of Shopify apps, integrations & growth tools
Familiarity with GA4, Facebook Pixel & marketing attribution
A mix of analytical + creative mindset, with an eye for both fashion & user experience
