Develop a strategic procurement plan that aligns with the company's objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key spend categories, including raw materials, solvents, catalysts, packaging, and engineering supplies.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Identify, assess, and develop suppliers (domestic and international), lead negotiations and manage long-term agreements, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Cost Optimization & Budgeting: Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and process improvements, prepare and monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Inventory & Supply Assurance: Collaborate with production and planning teams to maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing working capital, ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production disruptions.
  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement: Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, drive digitalization and automation of procurement processes using ERP systems.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within the chemical/process/manufacturing industry, familiarity with global sourcing, customs regulations, and import/export documentation, strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills, proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
