Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Director to lead and coordinate multiple applied research projects at our institute. The successful candidate will represent our Principal Investigators and scientists in project discussions, summarize, document, and manage the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple (two or three) applied research projects
  • Represent PIs and scientists in project discussions, summarize, document, and manage the project
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders across different organizations
  • Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface and engage with external organizations through reports, meetings, and presentations
  • Help manage scope, timelines, and quality of research output
  • Recommend tools, methods, and processes to improve project tracking and execution
  • Serve as a single point contact for project-related requests
  • Create, maintain, and update presentations related to various project engagements

For this position, we require a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field. Experience in a technical role interfacing between research/engineering teams and customer-facing teams is also necessary. Additionally, basic familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, and applications is preferred. Good analytical skills, ability to manage/understand cross-functional projects, and excellent communication skills are required.
