- Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of ingredients and operation of baking and other kitchen equipment, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Creation of pastries, baked goods, and confections according to established recipes, showcasing creativity and skill.
- Development of new recipes for seasonal menus, staying up-to-date with culinary trends.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure visually appealing presentation, meeting customer expectations.
- Providing exceptional customer consultations for custom-made desserts and pastries on special occasions like weddings, building strong relationships.
- Monitoring baking ingredient stock levels, maintaining efficient inventory management systems.
- Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed, adhering to safety and health regulations, minimizing risk.
- Supervising and training staff members when required, fostering a positive team environment.
