Reliable Infrastructure Expert

This key role will shape the SRE function within the company and serve as a foundational member of the Group SRE team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an automation-driven strategy to streamline operations across the organization.
  • Emphasize the importance of automating services by reducing manual effort and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Identify time-consuming processes and automate them to eliminate delays and redundancy.
  • Collaborate with teams to create metrics for evaluating engineering and operational service quality and delivery.
  • Establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services and lead architectural reviews focusing on reliability.
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies and conduct capacity planning to ensure reliable systems.
  • Lead chaos engineering exercises and drive continuous improvement from incidents.
  • Contribute to test and deployment processes to guarantee reliability and automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with practical knowledge of SRE principles and practices.
  • Experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to error budgets.
  • Implementation and operation of monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Understanding of corporate software development lifecycle methodology and infrastructure as code principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with public/private cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.
