This role oversees the project closure process across various stages, from initial planning to final handover. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closure, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain and update project data in designated tools while collaborating with project controls team members to verify accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through RMA processes, ensuring all items are appropriately recorded in warehouses and inventory systems.
  • Maintain regular communication with project-assigned teams to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping teams in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required and serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality teams.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping teams as necessary.
  • Own the final turnover package, which includes reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by General Contractors (GCs), regularly following up with GCs regarding deliverables, and suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents for revision.
  • Act as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to Closeout Coordinators as needed in Smartsheet.
  • Manage all JVizion (JV) tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
  • Occasionally follow up on punch list items and monitor EHS tasks to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry is required.
  • A good understanding of engineering concepts is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications is essential.
  • Engineering certification in related disciplines is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard materials is preferred.
  • Construction management background is preferred.
  • Telecommunication experience of any kind (Broadband, Telecom, Broadcast, etc.) is preferred.

Education

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience are required.
