Our ideal candidate will lead and inspire talented designers to create exceptional digital products and services. They will use their hands-on design skills, ensuring a user-centric approach that delivers simple, engaging, and innovative experiences. In this role, they will partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to bring new ideas to life.
The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Leveraging deep understanding of product design, design systems and UX research to drive the product direction.
  • Performing in a hands-on design and team management role.
  • Distilling complicated problems into simple and elegant solutions.
  • Participating in critique process to improve design acceptance.
  • Collaborating and building strong relationships with multi-disciplinary teams to define and deliver on product roadmaps that supports the needs of our clients and the business.
  • Achieving project goals and metrics at and after launch.
  • Mentoring and guiding designers to foster professional growth.

To be successful in this position, you must have:
  • Online portfolio demonstrating superior product design experiences.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in product design and graphic/visual development.
  • Proven experience designing digital solutions for private banking or financial advisory.
  • Experience designing for enterprise scale financial products.
  • Experience managing designers and can guide performance and development.
  • Experience working with Indesign systems and enterprise/consumer/complex user experiences.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in Figma, and digital accessibility principles.
  • You think in terms of systems and make rational design decisions.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Active listening, hearing and understanding what is said and not said.
  • Domain expertise in private banking, wealth management or financial advisory platforms.
  • Familiarity with current technologies and their application to digital experiences.
  • Ability to adapt and change direction based on team and stakeholder consensus.
