Job Title:

Export Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the export process from initial inquiry to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Premigration Tasks:
    • Packing lists, BL drafts, and other related documents need to be prepared in advance of shipments.
    • Insurance certificates must be generated through online portals, and we ensure that sufficient insured amounts are maintained.
  • Hazardous Cargo Management:
    • You will be responsible for understanding various hazard classes and packing groups.
    • DGDs need to be prepared as per regulations.
  • Cargo Coordination:
    • Coordinate with factors, CHAs, forwarding agents, transporters, shipping lines, and customers.
    • Negotiate air or sea freight with forwarders, shipping lines, or CHAs.
  • Documentation:
    • SB checklists, BOE checklists, AWB drafts, and BL drafts need to be approved on time.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders for flight or vessel bookings.
    • Arrange courier shipments through DHL or FedEx.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
    • Understand SCOMET and narcotics requirements for every shipment.
  • Customer Service:
    • Resolve customer queries promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
