Job Title: Assistant Manager Internal Audit

The organisation is seeking an experienced internal audit leader to drive audits and financial reviews across the Head Office and Associate Organisations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in internal/ statutory audit, with excellent analytical & communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in audit financial monitoring reviews conducted throughout the year.
  • Planning sampling attending kick-off meetings review meetings and closure meetings for finalisation of internal audit reports along with external audit firms.
  • Preparing annual budget audit coverage scope for all engagements.
  • Independently conducting Financial Review of Projects supported by Organisation including visit to locations identifying areas of concerns and ensuring that funds get utilised for purpose sanctioned.
  • Guiding teams providing practical solutions to issues being encountered by stakeholders.
  • Streamlining processes assisting in roll out of SOPs as required.
  • Rigorous follow up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras validating submissions and formal closure of open audit paras with external auditors.
  • Maintaining real time updated MIS for open audit paras sharing data with stakeholders on regular basis.
  • Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across organisations.
  • Interpretation of statutory regulatory changes assisting in defining policies to be implemented.
  • Preparing reports presentations for Organisation Management as required.
  • Maintaining cordial professional relationships with External Auditors and other agencies.

Qualifications Experience and Competencies:

  • Applicants must be qualified Chartered Accountants.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in Internal Statutory Audit.
  • Applicants must have experience knowledge of social sector.
  • Excellent analytical communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory internal audit.
  • In-depth understanding of auditing accounting standards.
  • Dedicated individual adhering to principles values and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritise multitask meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of team.
  • Flexibility willingness to travel as required.
