Financial Leader

This role oversees the financial function of a hotel, providing strategic guidance and leadership to drive business growth.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for developing and implementing property-wide strategies that deliver excellent customer experiences and meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customers and employees.

The position will head the finance function, championing, developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops means to improve profit, including cost estimation, new business opportunity exploration, etc.
  • Forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
  • Monitors actual sales against projected sales and compiles relevant information.
  • Engages in strategic planning and decision-making to drive business growth.
  • Leads, influences and encourages others through strong interpersonal and communication skills; advocates sound financial/business decision-making; demonstrates honesty/integrity.
  • Communicates strategic goals, focus and owner priorities clearly and precisely to subordinates.
  • Leverages strong functional leadership and communication skills to influence executive teams, properties' strategies and lead own team.
  • Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
Qualifications:
  • CA/MBA/Masters degree with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years experience in accounting preferably within the hotel industry.

This senior financial leader will champion, develop and implement strategies to deliver excellent customer experiences and drive business growth.
