Expert Citrix Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced architect to join our team as a Solution Design Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design Scalable Solutions: Analyze business requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and design scalable architectures for end-to-end virtual desktop solutions.
  2. Citrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services.
  3. Azure Virtual Desktop Configuration: Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  4. Identity and Access Management: Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls.
  5. Network Infrastructure: Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
  6. Performance Optimization: Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience, monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.
  7. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  8. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  9. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure and identify performance issues.
  10. Documentation and Collaboration: Create design documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, Azure virtual desktop services, and network design. Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud. Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
