Strategic HR Business Partner for Employee Engagement and Transformation

As a Senior HR Manager for Business Partnerships and Talent Management, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and employee engagement at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, providing high-quality support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, remuneration, training, and diversity initiatives.
- Partner with Business Unit (BU) functional leadership teams to align people needs with business strategy and objectives.
- Build strong relationships with customer group leadership teams and a complex set of stakeholders.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring, retention, and development initiatives in the BU.
- Be a key partner in getting, developing, and retaining talent in the BU.
- Understand business trends and emerging technology areas, developing recommendations for action on the people side of those topics.
- Provide advice and counsel to leadership regarding company policies and current employment law topics.
- Lead succession planning, development initiatives, and manager rotations.
- Provide direction to maintain a harmonious and high-performing working environment.
- Foster a diverse, empowering, transformational, and inspiring culture, leading the cultural transformation process in the organization.
- Deal with grievances and violations, including disciplinary action as needed.
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
- Periodically report to top management by analyzing data and using key HR metrics.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree qualification from a Tier-1 business school.
- Previous experience in a Generalist or HRBP role for a minimum of 8 years.
- Demonstrated experience in independently leading HRBP roles, supporting an employee group of ~0 employees, along with a team of HRBPs.
- Managerial experience of having directly managed a team of 3 to 4 team members for a minimum of 2 years would be an added preference.

- Data-driven thinking, including systematically gathering information, analyzing data, and generating alternatives and solutions.

- Organizational development, including knowledge of organizational behavior, capabilities, and change management.
- Collaboration, including working across various teams in HR and influencing people outcomes.
