HR Business Partner, Global Data, Transformation Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Takeda's Innovation Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our organization by providing strategic HR guidance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local HR leaders to implement human resources strategy across the organization
  • Model and reinforce Takeda's culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with organizational objectives
  • Support and advise managers and employees with annual HR processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, talent review, and performance and reward calibration
  • Provide input on HR-related issues, including workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development
  • Manage compensation process for functional groups, including equity assessment, job description creation, and leveling job roles
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiting and hiring strategies, consistent communication, and implementation of HR best practices across assigned functional groups
  • Help improve the onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience and connect them to Takeda's culture and values
  • Leverage organizational toolkits and communication channels to promote awareness, facilitate discussions, provide training on HR initiatives, professional development, career pathing, diversity, equity, and inclusion, etc.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends
  • Work with internal partners such as Global Mobility, Legal, Compliance, and PAG to resolve employee issues
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, culture, and retention

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, master's in business administration is preferable
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in HR partnering, with significant experience in compensation and benefits
  • Hands-on experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS platforms (i.e., Workday)
