Job Title: Lead Technical Compliance Specialist

Department: R&D - Mech

  • The role involves precise planning and execution of certification and compliance activities w.r.t. DGCA Type Certification, CEMILAC, FAA, EASA, Green & Blue UAS and third-party laboratory tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Products, test requirements;
  • Study & understand Tender Documents, Scheme Documents, Compliance Standards, Drone Rules and generate test requirements proposal & obtain agreements with internal stakeholders;
  • Ensuring correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits and cooperation with CB for expeditious releases of SoCs;
  • Effective communications & collaborations with CB, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS etc.

Requirements:

  • B Tech / M Tech in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 10-15 Years of Experience in Technical Compliances, minimum 5 years in UAS industry;
  • Exceptional understanding & hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – National/International;
  • Proven Experience with product testing, process analysis & certification activities.

  • Strong Negotiation and Convincing Skills. Able to analyze risks & initiate mitigation plans;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Strong Interpersonal, Decision Making and Prioritization skills;
  • Strong documentation skills and record keeping. The ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing;
  • Flexibility to travel to and work with External agencies for work activities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering;
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in technical compliances, with a minimum of 5 years in the UAS industry;
  • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks;
  • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities.
