Operations Director

Operations Director Role Overview:

This leadership position involves overseeing the operational aspects of various teams, ensuring seamless execution and goal achievement.

• Pipeline Management:
• Create capacity plans, manage team rosters, and implement efficient cross-team handoffs to drive pipeline throughput.
• Process Optimization:
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each stage, including offer-to-onboard, resume revamps, job submissions, interview coordination, and training completion.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
• Monitor daily dashboards, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to improve time-to-onboard, submissions/day, interviews scheduled, offer rate, and join rate.
• Training & Upskilling Operations:
• Coordinate curricula, trainer calendars, candidate cohorts, assessments, and certification tracking to ensure readiness for placements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Partner with HR, Finance/Collections, and Sales for smooth handoffs, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and client requirements are met.
• Automation & Tools:
• Champion CRM/ATS hygiene, automate routine steps, and standardize reporting to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Reporting & Reviews:
• Provide daily/weekly MIS, conduct root-cause analyses, develop corrective action plans, and share leadership updates to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage pods across multiple teams, creating schedules and capacity plans.
• Process Development: Design, document, and enforce SOPs for each stage.
• Pipeline Throughput: Monitor dashboards and remove bottlenecks to improve performance metrics.
• Training Coordination: Organize curricula, trainer calendars, and candidate cohorts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and Sales for smooth handoffs.
• Automation Champion: Automate routine steps and standardize reporting.
• Daily Reporting: Provide MIS, conduct root-cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in operations management within staffing/recruiting, edtech/training, BPO, or services environments.
• Strong program/project management skills, data-driven decision-making, and a focus on execution.
• Hands-on experience with CRM/ATS, Google Sheets/Excel, and collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, or WhatsApp Business.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
• Comfort working night shifts and aligned with U.S. clients, thriving in fast-paced, target-driven settings.
