Job Title: Automation Tester for UI, API and Integration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
  • Manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Support manual testing efforts when required.
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in policy centre projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools like Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks.
  • Experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and Test Design for minimum 2 Years.
  • Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge on CI / CD.
  • Knowledge of API & API testing tools like Karate or RestAssured.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
  • Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools & CI/CD tools.
