Job Title:

We are seeking an Automation Tester with strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Automation Tester where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests to ensure application stability and usability.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Work with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing.
  • Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
