Python Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Python QA Specialist to join our testing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python for automation testing, a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies, test automation frameworks, and Agile processes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Frameworks and Scripts
Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create robust test plans and cases.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Work in Agile environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A minimum of 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
Strong understanding of QA processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
