Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a cloud security specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-cloud security strategies.

About the Role

  • This role involves conducting risk assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud-based applications and data.
  • You will configure public cloud native security tooling and capabilities, including GCP organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies, and GCP APIs.
  • Implement cloud security posture management (CSPM) using 3rd party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
  • You will design and configure event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, including technologies such as Azure Function, Automation Runbook, AWS Lambda, and Google Cloud Functions.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • You must have strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
  • A working knowledge of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process is also required.
  • Familiarity with logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud environments is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC process.
  • Familiarity with logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
  • Knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies.
