Cloud Security and Compliance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead end-to-end security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments across our cloud infrastructure, applications, and organizational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical assessments of cloud security controls, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements for new clients.
  • Analyse and complete detailed security questionnaires for cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Map customer security and regulatory requirements to internal controls, ensuring alignment with industry standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and RBI.
  • Maintain documentation templates for common assessment artifacts and manage security questionnaires from clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Evaluate vendor security and compliance by reviewing their responses and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks within our IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Promote compliance with security standards, such as GDPR, SOC 2, and relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain internal security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to vendor assessments and third-party risk management.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve security measures and compliance.
  • Educate internal staff and external partners on security best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in audit/compliance, application security assessments, and AWS cloud security, preferably in the BFSI domain.
  • Strong exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure, including Guard Duty, Security Hub, Inspector, Firewall, IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, Security Groups, etc.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, vulnerability management, threat modelling, and information security standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Ability to interpret and explain security configurations and policies in layman's terms.
