Advanced Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical support specialist to provide expert-level assistance to our users. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

  • Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop, laptop, and peripheral problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Assist with network connectivity issues and printer troubleshooting.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Train users on new hardware and software as needed.
Essential Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Mac OS.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex hardware issues including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users effectively.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are highly desirable.
