Job Description:

Senior Network Engineer for DDI Solutions

This role involves designing and implementing next-gen DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions across various networks.

The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with expert network architects and engineers to drive adoption of NRE practices and operating models globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Goals:
    1. Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
    2. Promote the documenting of project progress accurately.
    3. Provide input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.
  • Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge:
    1. Provide technical expertise and support to people inside and outside of the department.
    2. Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
    3. Stay up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to job.
    4. Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and/or process information.
  • Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders:
    1. Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders.
    2. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
    3. Determine priorities, schedules, plans, and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.
    4. Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to support business/initiative strategies.
    5. Communicate concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand.
    6. Generate accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent.
  • 6+ years' experience in developing network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission-critical networks.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DDI appliance technologies from industry-leading vendors (Infoblox, BlueCat, EfficientIP, etc).
  • Experience in configuring SaaS-based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers.
  • Experience in implementing DNS security policies and DNS resolution policies.
  • Hands-on experience in resolving complex networking issues related to DDI protocols.
