Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced network professional to fill the role of Network System Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and supporting network hardware, security, VPNs, and protocols.

This is a critical position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, installing, configuring, and supporting network hardware (routers, switches, servers, firewalls)
  • Monitoring network performance, diagnosing problems, and managing accounts and permissions
  • Implementing network security through firewalls, intrusion detection, VPNs, and security protocols
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting network issues
  • Creating and maintaining accurate network documentation
  • Planning and recommending network upgrades or improvements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of networking principles, routing, and switching
  • Proficiency in network security, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Hands-on experience with hardware installation, upgrades, and software support
  • Relevant education and certifications are preferred but not required
Typical Duties:
  • Fully supporting, configuring, and upgrading internal and client networks
  • Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
  • Setting up accounts, permissions, passwords, and maintaining network policies
  • Oversight of network documentation, inventory, and compliance tasks
  • Responding to and resolving network emergencies and outages quickly
Qualifications:
  • Proven hands-on network administration and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
