Job Summary

As a seasoned solar operations and maintenance professional, you will oversee the performance monitoring and gap analysis of multiple solar plants, identifying operational gaps and implementing corrective actions to ensure targets are met.

This role involves liaising with site in-charges for day-to-day operations, issue resolution, and implementation of best practices across all sites. You will also be responsible for team development, supporting recruitment, training, and retention of site O&M teams to maintain high productivity and engagement levels.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years in solar O&M as middle-level management. Experience with 33kV substations, transmission lines, and related troubleshooting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Performance Monitoring & Gap Analysis: Track performance of multiple solar plants, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  2. Multi-site Coordination: Liaise with site in-charges for day-to-day operations, issue resolution, and implementation of best practices across all sites.
  3. Team Development: Support recruitment, training, and retention of site O&M teams to maintain high productivity and engagement levels.
  4. Project Handover/Takeover: Ensure smooth transitions, following defined scopes and protocols.
  5. MIS & Documentation: Manage weekly/monthly reports, documentation, invoicing, vendor bill verification, and ERP approvals.
  6. Cost Optimization: Identify and onboard quality local vendors to optimize O&M costs without compromising service quality.
