Senior Solar Design Manager

The Senior Solar Design Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers in the creation and implementation of solar projects. This role involves managing the design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications, are cost-effective, and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire design process for solar PV power plants.
  • Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements.
  • Present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
  • Stay updated with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis.
  • Implement best practices and industry advancements.
Qualification:

A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering is required. A minimum of 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher is necessary. Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope is also required.
