Chef De Partie


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Your duties will include regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, and ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish. You will also be responsible for maintaining food logs, monitoring the quality and quantity of food prepared, communicating assistance needed during busy periods, and informing the Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.

In addition, you will be required to inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items, ensure the quality of food items, prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, and assist with cold foods.

You will work closely with other members of the kitchen team to achieve excellent standards of food quality and presentation. Your role will also involve working with management to develop menus, train new staff, and implement kitchen procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
