Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Architect About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to spearhead our data cloud initiatives. This individual will leverage their expertise in Salesforce architecture and data integration to drive strategy, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities.

This role requires deep knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform), along with proven leadership skills to guide technical teams, design scalable architectures, and enable enterprise-wide data-driven transformations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices, as well as experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with AI tools.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about staying current with Salesforce Data Cloud roadmap, releases, and new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions.
  • Define data models, ingestion strategies, identity resolution, harmonization, and activation of unified customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable Data Cloud solutions.
  • Manage data governance, security, and compliance across multiple data sources.
  • Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with various platforms.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Salesforce professionals.
  • Define best practices for data ingestion, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming pipelines.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams to align Data Cloud initiatives with overall data strategy.
  • Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of Data Cloud implementations.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of Salesforce platform experience with at least 3+ years dedicated to Data Cloud/Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, data integration, and enterprise solution design.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, identity resolution, consent management, and profile unification.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and data harmonization techniques.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with AI tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
