Job Summary:

The Director of Client Services is responsible for creating and executing strategic plans to drive client growth, adapting to changing client needs and market trends. This role involves leading client engagement processes, analyzing business operations, and developing compelling case studies to showcase achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual operating plans based on client briefs and adapt them to changes in client needs or market conditions.
  • Lead client engagement process by generating innovative concepts in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Provide strategic insights to competitor analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements and new business avenues.
  • Conduct quality analysis and innovation: Analyze business-as-usual operations to identify areas for experimentation and improvement.
  • Create compelling case studies and success stories that highlight the achievements and impact of the team's work.
  • Define brand positioning strategies that differentiate clients from competitors and resonate with target audiences.
  • Brief review and approval - Review and vet client briefs, ensuring alignment with execution plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand strategic growth plans and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Establish clear benchmarks and review timelines to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Take final accountability for client pitches and creating annual execution plans & strategies.
  • Evaluate marketing success through social media reports, identifying improvement areas and demonstrating value to stakeholders.
  • Update resource planning quarterly and ensure timely contract renewals, addressing obstacles proactively.
  • Maintain monthly client P&Ls, ensuring billing targets are met.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings, provide feedback, and mentor teams for proactive problem-solving.
  • Structure training programs with the L&D team to improve work quality and specific competencies.
  • Hire capable resources that can understand, communicate and execute client briefs accurately.
