Job Title: HVAC Design Engineering Manager

As a seasoned leader in the field of mechanical HVAC design engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of HVAC systems for various projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that these systems are energy-efficient, meet regulatory standards, and comply with relevant codes.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including load calculations, duct design, system selection, and integration. Additionally, you must possess excellent project management skills, with experience in budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Leading a team of engineers, you will foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for presenting technical information to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and development of HVAC systems for various projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to achieve high-quality results.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HVAC design engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
