We are seeking a skilled Purchase Engineer to join our team. As a Purchase Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and selecting vendors, preparing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with project teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for materials and equipment.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with project teams to understand technical requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
- Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgment and logistics tracking.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes in EPC/Projects/Water Industry.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials.
- Vendor development and supplier relationship management skills.
- Negotiation and cost optimization skills.
- ERP/Procurement software knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
