Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F O) finance functional consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing clients' finance processes, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F O solutions, and providing expert guidance on best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance principles and processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will have experience with financial module implementation and configuration within D365 F O, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading full-cycle D365 F O implementations
- Configuring and customizing D365 F O finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Cash, Bank, and Project Accounting
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Providing expert guidance on best practices, compliance, and financial reporting standards
- SUPPORTING data migration, testing, training, and go-live activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 F O, with a strong focus on finance
- Proven track record of leading full-cycle D365 F O implementations
- Deep understanding of UK financial regulations and housing sector accounting practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred qualifications include experience working in the housing, public sector, or non-profit domain, familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and integration tools, and knowledge of project accounting and grant management.
