Internal Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Internal Communications Specialist to lead and enhance our company's internal communications and editorial strategies. This role is crucial for fostering a culture of transparency, engagement, and effective communication within the organization.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven track record in content creation and copywriting. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling communication platforms, including intranet, emails, and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Design communication plans for major company announcements, events, and initiatives.
  • Act as a key liaison between leadership and employees to ensure consistent messaging.
Content Creation & Editorial Management:
  • Create engaging content for internal newsletters, intranet, internal blogs, and other communication platforms.
  • Edit and proofread content to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Develop storytelling strategies to enhance employee engagement and brand advocacy.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to promote company culture, values, and employee recognition programs.
  • Support internal campaigns to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Media & Channel Management:
  • Manage internal communication channels like intranet, emails, digital signage, and internal social platforms.
  • Optimize communication tools for maximum reach and effectiveness.
Event & Campaign Support:
  • Coordinate internal events, town halls, webinars, and leadership meetings.
  • Create promotional content and materials to support corporate events and initiatives.
Measurement & Analytics:
  • Track the effectiveness of internal communication campaigns through surveys, feedback, and analytics.
  • Provide regular reports on engagement metrics and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields.
Experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or editorial roles.
  • Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and editorial management.
  • Experience in handling communication platforms (intranet, emails, digital tools) is a plus.
Key Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional editorial and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences.
