**Job Title:** UX Designer at Laerdal Bangalore LLP

As a UX designer at Laerdal Bangalore LLP, you will play a vital role in shaping our product design process. You will support user researchers by conducting interviews and surveys, then translating these insights into sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes across various projects.

**Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan user research, develop research plans, and run testing with customers in a self-coordinated way.
  • Facilitate client product visions by researching, conceiving, sketching, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
  • Work extensively in agile and product-centered environments, being pragmatic and process-oriented in your activities.
  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and deliver user flows, user journeys, wireframes, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills to engage with teams and convince stakeholders.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in research and design.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with experience in UX/digital design and service design alongside proven hands-on design research experience and skillset.
  • Ability to work autonomously and creatively, driving and initiating projects.
  • Confidence in design and research methods and processes, being flexible and open to adapt approaches to evolving situations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of research and design software like Mural, Microsoft Tools, Figma, and Behavioral data tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to have fun, grow, and learn.

**Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDraw.
  • Practical experience in development of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, (optional).
  • Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability and responsive website design.
