Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Laerdal Bangalore LLP. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test automation frameworks, test scripts, and manual test cases for our web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automation frameworks, test scripts, and manual test cases for web applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and improve the quality of our processes and products.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or Python, and test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and BDD-Cucumber framework.

- Perform manual test case design and execution, and manage defects, troubleshoot them, and investigate root causes.

- Stay updated on new testing techniques and technologies around quality assurance.

Requirements

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a test automation engineer.

- Very good experience and understanding of manual testing process with a great quality-oriented mindset.

- Very good hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, User Interface testing of Web Application, and API testing (Microservices, Postman, Collections and Newman).

- Good experience of core Java or Python coding skills for test automation, debugging logs, and analytical skills.

- Hands-on experience in CI/CD build pipelines in Jenkins, cross-browser testing, and good knowledge of different testing types and methodologies.

- Good experience in Agile way of working, JIRA or any test management tool, and experience working on GitHub or Bitbucket for test automation.

- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, SauceLabs etc.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Cypress and JavaScript is a plus.

- Experience in databases and writing SQL queries.

- Good Experience in API and Application performance testing using JMeter or Locust.

- Experience in mobile application testing on the Android and iOS platforms is a plus.
