Job Summary:

The Senior Executive Engineer position plays a pivotal role in driving engineering excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading efforts to improve code quality, automation, reliability, and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and dashboards to enhance software development lifecycle (SDLC) efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for technical improvement.
  • Promote and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices, automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging adoption of modern development practices such as test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance engineering onboarding, knowledge sharing, and documentation standards.
  • Analyze engineering metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, code coverage) and provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, DevOps, QA, and product management to align on technical excellence goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of engineering practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Mentor and train engineers on best practices for writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

* 5-7 years of experience in biopharma equipment operations

* Hands-on experience with biopharma equipment

* Strong understanding of operational and process excellence principles
