Billing Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Billing Executive to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing process from start to finish.

Your primary goal is to ensure that all invoices are accurate and delivered on time. To achieve this, you will work closely with project managers, process backlogs of unbilled project invoices, and collaborate with the finance team to maximize efficiency and accuracy of existing systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate contracts with MIS to determine proper project invoicing budget, service requirements, and formats.
  • Process and issue accurate project invoices and validate rates of labour charges and taxes.
  • Monitor and track all purchase orders, sales orders, service orders across the US countries and issue timely and accurate invoices.
  • Monitor and issue credit notes upon request of project managers.
  • Analyze and resolve customer or project manager discrepancies with invoices.
  • Ensure quality assurance for the invoicing process by verifying the accuracy of invoice calculations.
  • Recommend and implement billing solutions using current technology to maximize efficiency and accuracy of existing systems and processes.
  • Manage assigned client-based invoicing logs for prioritization and management of workload on a daily basis.
  • Follow up and work closely with project managers and process backlogs of unbilled project invoices.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the finance team for assigned clients.
  • Provide excellent client service to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare SOPs and update old SOPs with current processes.
  • Prepare month-end close reports.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in billing and accounting fields.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, billing, and financial concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with billing software (Oracle system preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client service skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
