We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the operations of our data center. As a Data Center Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

About This Role

  • You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the data center facilities and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems including power, cooling, and networking equipment.
  2. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware and software within the data center environment.
  3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance metrics.
  4. Collaborate with the operations team to implement best practices for data center management and uptime optimization.
  5. Support the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of data center operations and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with cooling systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and server hardware configuration.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and management tools used in data centers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
