Job Description

• This position is in a System Engineering domain, which is a critical component of the company's sales strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering design solutions, product positioning, and architecture for enterprise customer segments.
• We are seeking a dynamic addition to our India System Engineering team, who is self-driven, proactive in customer engagements, and focused on customer satisfaction.
• The ideal candidate will articulate business value propositions, build differentiators in proposals, and drive leadership conversations.
• Traditionally a system engineer by day, but a technologist and a converged data center enthusiast by night, this individual will also lead public forums and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

• Go-to SE and trusted advisor for enterprise networking solutions across data centers, campuses, including Wi-Fi, security, WAN, SD-WAN, and automation.
• Daily activities include direct customer and partner engagement, comprehensive discovery, information sharing, and collaborative solution design; proposal development; solution demonstrations; proof-of-concept test design and use cases, convey competitive landscape, and coordinate with partners to ensure implementations meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Experience in delivering secure, automated cloud infrastructure.
• Front-line field system engineering for participating and driving customer conversations for win-win outcomes with a broad base of customers across enterprise, telco, and government, helping with design to migrate legacy DC to SDN-enabled DC.
• Qualify customer-provided information and proposing best-fit technical proposals.
• Lead the architecture, design, transformation, and modernization of data centers with TCO, revenue enhancements, and differentiated value propositions.
• Ability to collaborate with global teams like BU, PLM, engineering, services, and GTM partners.
• Perform architectural design workshops with cross-functional customer teams and articulate business value to customer leadership teams. Develop and present best practices, technical concepts, and technologies.
• Client presentations, preparation of bill of materials, and work as an individual contributor for customer engagements.
• Build relationships with partners and customers and drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of data center networking, DC applications, DC tools, DC security, virtualization, and multi-cloud technologies.
• Experience in designing solutions across enterprise solutions, in-depth technical knowledge of enterprise solutions, competition solutions in the market.
• Must have worked across enterprise verticals like BFSI, manufacturing, IT/ITES, healthcare, hospitality, and should have knowledge about vertical requirements and solutions.
• Underlay, overlay, security, and automation pipeline to build DC use cases.
• Centralized and distributed service architecture fabric for differentiated use cases.
• Multi-tenancy micro-segmentation and service orchestration in data centers.
• Multicast use case delivery for achieving efficient, scalable, and converged environments.
• Working experience in large enterprise DC and telco cloud offerings.
• Enable success of security with secure cloud offering, Sky ATP, and JATP.
• Understanding of cloud security, security threats, trends, and mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge on trends, new technologies, and key automation, SDN technologies.

• Juniper's technical competencies: switching and security (Junos, SRX, QFX). Working experience on BGP, MPLS, firewall, IDP/IPS, IPSec/SSL VPNs, private/hybrid cloud, EVPN/VxLAN, and SDN/NFV technologies.
• Experience in Linux operating systems including Red Hat, CentOS, and/or Ubuntu.
• Technology deep insight for automation vehicles/network and compute virtualization like Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ansible, Terraform, NFVI/MANO, VMware, OpenShift/KVM, LXC, Docker, Kubernetes, and Contrail.
• Working experience in VM, containers, and virtualization for achieving SDN/NFV targets, use cases, controllers, cloud management platforms.
• Have exposure to working with GitHub, GitLab, and GitOps for enabling automation journeys in customer use cases.
• DevOps experience with proficiency in automation using bash, Perl, Python, Chef, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
• Working knowledge and experience in capacity planning, disaster recovery execution, geo-redundancy, and high availability of storage platforms.
