Job Description
  • As a software engineer, you will be responsible for delivering new features and owning the design/implementation of the code that drives our products.
  • The role of a software engineer is much bigger than simply writing code. You will work on the whole development process including suggesting and deciding what features to build, designing, architecting and developing network applications and microservices for Data Center Networking on SONiC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and test network applications and microservices.
  • Work with customers in the field if needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
  • Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
  • Fluency in one of C/C++/Python programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with designs and implementations in a product-engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • A minimum of one year of hands-on SONiC experience.
  • Understanding of SONiC architecture.
  • Knowledge of the FRR open routing stack, Redis-DB, and Docker.
