We are Hiring for our client based in Bangalore location.

  • Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Data Centers

Key Responsibilities (Role-wise)

  • Mechanical (HVAC): HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, energy compliance, ducting layouts, BIM-based design, MEP coordination, and compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, TIA-942 standards.
  • Plumbing (PHE): Design of water supply, drainage, firefighting systems, plumbing calculations, pipe sizing, fixture selection, and adherence to IPC/UPC/EN/NFPA codes.
  • Electrical: Design of LV/MV distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, SCADA/PMS, ETAP/SKM analysis, and compliance with IEC/NEC/BS/EN standards.
  • BMS / BAS: HVAC controls, EPMS, BCMS, automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks), BAS design for mission-critical facilities, vendor management, and commissioning support.
  • Lead Roles: Manage teams, oversee BIM workflows, clash detection, design documentation, client interaction, and delivery of complex multi-disciplinary Data Center projects across US & Europe.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • Mechanical: HAP, Trace 3D Plus, IESVE, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360.
  • Plumbing: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Office.
  • Electrical: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dialux evo, AGI 32, Elum, SKM, ETAP, MS Office.
  • BMS / BAS: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BAS platforms (Tridium / Siemens Desigo), MS Office.
  • General: Strong BIM expertise, project management skills, client coordination, QA/QC, and knowledge of US & European standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • BE / B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • years of experience in MEP design for mission-critical Data Center projects (US & Europe exposure mandatory).
  • Proficiency in BIM workflows and multidisciplinary design coordination.
  • Strong communication, client management, and leadership skills.
  • Immediate availability / short notice preferred.
