Job Title: Financial Operations Director

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Head to spearhead financial leadership of banquet and catering operations. The ideal candidate will drive strategic planning, ensure compliance, profitability, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
  • Lead and manage accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
  • Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  • Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  • Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with at least 8-12 years of overall finance experience, including 4 years in a leadership role. They will possess strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls, and proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with high integrity and process orientation, and experience in audit and statutory reporting.
