We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Risk Operations Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in financial services who is passionate about risk control, process integrity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Transaction Review: Analyze client transactions, account behavior, and escalations to identify anomalies or potential risk indicators.\
  • Daily risk monitoring: Track trading positions, P&L, margin requirements, and exposures across asset classes (e.g., commodities, equities, derivatives, FX).\
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions.\
  • Reconciliations: Support reconciliation of risk and finance data to ensure accuracy of exposures, balances, and margin requirements.\
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with trading, compliance, back-office operations teams for issue resolution and controls enhancement.\
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies or gaps in operational risk processes and contribute to automation or controls enhancement.\
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about applicable regulatory and industry standards (e.g., RBI, SEBI, Basel norms, etc.).\

    • Required Skills & Qualifications:\
      • \
      • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.\
      • 1-2 years of experience in risk operations within a financial services sector.\
      • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of risk management concepts and financial markets.\
      • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros); knowledge of SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus.\
      • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.\
      • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a highly regulated environment.\

          • Experience working in NBFCs, fintechs, or investment firms.\
          • Experience in handling large trading books including physical commodity assets.\
          • Certifications such as FRM (Level 1), CFA (Level 1), or related credentials are an added advantage.\
