Project Director for Renewable Energy Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our renewable energy projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 13-15 years of experience in project development and management.
- Proven track record of delivering solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid projects from feasibility to commissioning.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and technical-commercial aspects of renewable energy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate vendors for project development, ensuring timely empanelment based on experience and market feedback.
- Conduct due diligence of project sites, assessing suitability, connectivity timelines, resource mapping, and technical specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including contract finalization, land document compilation, cost modeling, and tariff-return scenario assessment.
- Perform regulatory diligence according to state/CTU guidelines for Connectivity, Group Captive, etc.
- Oversee vendor-related transactions, including land advances and resource estimation.
- Expedite project roll-out activities, such as land acquisition, procurement, contract execution, GST registration, and essential secretarial work.
