DevOps Expert

The DevOps Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-priority projects. This individual collaborates with internal product groups and development teams to develop technical designs and processes for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Development, Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to provide agility within a defined delivery process.
  • Promote adherence to enterprise standards through collaboration with multiple development teams.
  • Support all CI/CD tools operational needs such as enhancements, vulnerability management, patching, upgrades, and complete lifecycle.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and/or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise customer-facing solutions.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Leadership experience in designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Automation/integration experience for end-user Onboarding for enterprise systems (CI/CD Tools).
  • Experience interacting with customers to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage solution requirements.
  • Experience with .Net, Python, and/or Java development/framework, public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and Automation/Continuous Integration (Terraform, SonarQube, Jenkins, BitBucket, Harness, etc.).
  • SDLC experience including associated deployment methodologies, Onboarding, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts and Source Code Management with GitLab.
  • Implementing and supporting a large Nexus Repository Management environment.

Detailed Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Previous Development/System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments.
  • Working knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Salt, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience effectively managing multiple technology projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
